The new Diamant 2000s that come out with the Tier V standard are equipped with MAN engine. This is the engine block called MAN D4276 LE122 with 790 hp. It allows thanks to its turbo to output a nominal torque of 3400Nm. MAN D4276 LE

The problems that can be encountered on Albach Diamant 2000 MAN engine are mainly related to the emission control system, be it the EGR valve, the particulate filter, the adblue system or even the supercharging. Indeed, problems with turbos are quite frequent and this is explained by the fact that the MAN D4276 block has been developed to output a significant power of 790hp as well as a torque of 3400Nm maintained over a range of 250 rotations per minute from 1350 to 1600 rpm. The pressure load of the turbo is quite large and the emission control system meeting the Tier V standard does not help. The recirculation of the exhaust gases plus the operation of the FAP encourages higher EGTS (Exhaust Gas Temperature) and therefore overheating when the turbo compresses them to work continuously.

Our solution consists of a complete programming of the engine control unit with emulation of the emission parameters. It is not a question of removing the fault codes and removing all torque limits. The values remain consistent in order to be interpreted by the engine management computer. This operation requires immobilization of the vehicle for half a day as well as working off the drill in a dry place and provided with electricity.
