Case IH Adblue Trouble

Designed to harvest all crops, for high yields, and to be ever more productive, Case IH Axial-Flow® combines are once again revolutionizing agricultural technology. Equipped with FPT Cursor engines as well as the SCR System (Adblue), we offer our solutions for vehicles intended for a non-European or American market for which Adblue is not yet widespread. Our solution consists in virtualizing the emissions post-processing system in order to neutralize the system and prevent the machine from failing.

What engines are supported by our solution? Deactivation of the AdBlue SCR system on supported Case IH vehicles are those meeting the EPA3B / TIer 4 standard and fitted with Bosch EDC17 engine control units. These are mainly Cursor engines produced by Fiat FPT (Fiat Powertrain Technologies) which have been fitted to Iveco heavy goods vehicles for several years. They are mainly controlled by BOSCH EDC17CV41 control boxes.

Adblue Case IH problem: Faulty removal process

Reading data from the computer memory and extracting the fault codes present. We then read the engine management program in its entirety in order to have all the engineering variables as defined in the Bosch EDC17/MD1 box. Following this operation, we implement our own engine management program allowing the emulation of exhaust gas post-treatment data. Main features and functions of a virtualization following the Adblue Case IH AF/AFX problem

Removal of AdBlue injection AdBlue level correction and emulation Deleting faults present permanently AdBlue quality emulation Nox sensor emulation Removal of torque and power limits Removal of the maximum speed limit Complete solution for virtualizing the AdBlue system on Case IH machines

The Bosch EDC17CV41 ECU: Fault removal but also engine power increase

Engine, Adblue and Power calculator The various information contained in the Bosch EDC17 engine management computer relates to all engine operation and the polluting emissions treatment system. The different variables correspond, for example, to the injection time, to the torque limiters, to the ignition advance parameters, the fuel injection (rail pressure, etc.) and many others. Our engine engineers are fully familiar with the management system and the engine tolerances provided for each machine, which allows us to get the most out of it while maintaining its reliability. Main defects encountered on Case IH vehicles

Most of the faults encountered concerning the Adblue system The majority of faults encountered on Case IH harvesters relate to Adblue. Indeed, the key parts such as the pump, the injector or the SCR catalyst and its NOx sensor are the main concerned. Each fault contains a specific code which allows us to identify them with precision and therefore to find them in the engine management parameters previously extracted.
