Adblue Cummins engine problem: Details

Our solutions to counter Adblue problems on Cummins engines adapt to almost all vehicles equipped with the brand’s engines having a DPF (DPF), an SCR system (Adblue) and/or an EGR valve (gas recycling ). We are going to describe to you more precisely what can be done on the vehicles by engine and type of computer.

What elements to remove on Cummins engine?

Thanks to our administrator rights in research and development mode via our original Cummins software, we can integrate many functions on almost all engines. There are many names that will surely be common to you, such as:

SCR Delete / Selective Catalytic Reduction
DPF Delete / Diesel Particle Filter
EGR Delete / Exhaust Gas Recirculation
CAT Delete / Catalytic Converter
DEF Delete / Diesel Exhaust Fluid
DOC Delete / Diesel Oxidation Catalyst
DPD Delete / Diesel Particle Diffuser

What does our operation consist of?

Removal of faults and resetting of elements present on the vehicle

If the check engine light or any error message about a faulty emission control system component, then it will be permanently removed.
Vehicle torque limitation and power restriction will be removed
Crawling mode (or Limp mode) will be deactivated: the vehicle or machine will no longer have a reduction in traffic speed
In some cases, you can disconnect the peripherals directly (sensors, pump, etc.)
You will no longer need to use AdBlue

Programming in R&D mode of the Adblue Off DPF & EGR emission control system

The computer is a box that allows the vehicle to operate according to a specific setting combining economy, cleanliness and performance. A Cummins adblue engine problem generally appears following a failure of one of the elements in connection with the vehicle’s anti-pollution system which sends a message (CAN) to the engine management unit (or ECU) indicating that this or that element has a defect. Depending on the CAN message received, the computer is able to restrict the performance of the machine up to a possible complete stop if no intervention is carried out.

Depending on the country or continent in which the machine or vehicle is used, the standards differ and that is why the configurations also differ. We have privileged access to Cummins software and other software which generally allows us better than the dealership to be able to control the various elements and peripherals, in particular Adblue, Fap and EGR on the most recent ones.

What to do if you break down on a construction site or in a critical condition?

Our software applications allow us to intervene on almost all machines equipped with Cummins engines directly via the OBD diagnostic socket or via the Cummins socket. If you run out of adblue with your Cummins engine in unsuitable conditions, know that our service is available 24 hours a day to serve you. However, the high demand for intervention sometimes forces us to extend the deadlines by 24 hours.

To know when we intervene
We need a sheltered space if possible. We work on the electronic management module and sometimes need to disconnect its connectors. Humidity is no friend of electronics.
A 220V power outlet may be required although we have our own transformer
It is always best to have someone who is technical or knowledgeable about the machine in question present if we have any questions. Indeed we know Cummins engines but the proprietary control systems and menus differ on each brand. We don’t know them all by heart.
We will ask you before moving to take a photo of the messages present on the dashboard of the vehicle as well as a photo of the identification plate of the engine and even a photo of the machine itself as well as its exact brand and model in order to facilitated the preparation of the program upstream.
Our expertise in Cummins management systems is well established. If we can intervene then you will be repaired at the end of the appointment.
We generally do a few minutes or hours of testing with the operator of the machine to confirm that it is working properly again.
Under no circumstances can our programming be modified, UNLESS you go to the dealer and they flash the engine ECU, ie it replaces our modified software with a factory update.
You can read and erase faults not relating to the Adblue or the anti-pollution system, in any event faults linked to SCR DPF or EGR will no longer be displayed.
In the event that our programming is erased by mistake, you do not have to pay the full amount. But 50%. This being the case, we strongly advise you to stipulate not to update the engine management unit, especially as some new versions could prevent us from reconfiguring certain functions following a factory version that is too recent.
We travel all over France and even around the world.
Any intervention requires a deposit so that we do not move for nothing
We accept payment by credit card on site
The intervention can last between 2 and 4 hours depending on the complexity of the system
ANY DISPLACEMENT OF OUR SERVICES IS GUARANTEED IN 99.9% OF CASES TO RESUME YOUR ACTIVITY WITHIN THE FOLLOWING HOURS
