Many Deutz engines power various agricultural and construction machinery. Some of these engines may occasionally be prone to emission control system failures. Our intervention for AdBlue Deutz TCD engine problem

To modify the data of your machine equipped with a Deutz engine, we need to read the original program of the Bosch engine ECU (the engine management ECU which also manages the exhaust gas post-treatment). We therefore use our equipment to obtain a backup of your original engine computer (or ECU) program. Once the information has been recorded, we can edit the program in order to modify the data related to the AdBlue system.

Almost all Deutz TCD engines can be read via the manufacturer’s diagnostic socket, in other cases it is necessary to dismantle the engine computer to recover the data in order to pass the various securities.

Note that in some cases the torque and power limits are deactivated, you can work again in complete safety, however it happens that the warning triangle on the dashboard or even some error messages do not go out not !! DO NOT PANIC ! The vehicle still works like before!

 

 

What to do if you break down on a construction site or in a critical condition?

Broken down in the middle of a field or in the middle of a construction site? We have the possibility to move directly. It is often necessary that we have before our intervention a maximum of information. In particular a photo of the engine and computer labels as well as the visible plates on the machine. This allows us to assess the possibility of working on your vehicle.

When the operation takes place via the manufacturer’s diagnostic socket, we can intervene externally.
If need to disassemble the engine computer of the vehicle in this case a shelter will then be necessary to carry out the disassembly

On Deutz engines we do not add an additional box, so everything is transparent.
Under no circumstances can our programming be modified, UNLESS you go to the dealer and they flash the engine ECU, ie it replaces our modified software with a factory update.
You can read and erase faults not relating to the Adblue or the anti-pollution system, in any case the faults having a link with SCR will no longer be displayed.
In the event that our programming is erased by mistake, you do not have to pay the full amount. But 50%. This being the case, we strongly advise you to stipulate not to update the engine management unit, especially as some new versions could prevent us from reconfiguring certain functions following a factory version that is too recent.
