On all Renault Euro 6 equipped with ACM 2.1 Continental and EMS 2.3 and 2.4 TRW computers, we now have new reliable, stable and tested solutions. We offer you to remove EGR – FAP – ADBLUE – as well as the possibility of improving vehicle performance.
The operation consists of working at the heart of the computer directly in the vehicle’s original program in the two management boxes, engine and post-processing.
It is necessary for us to have the truck sheltered for this tailor-made programming. The intervention time per vehicle is about 3 hours and sometimes more depending on where the ACM is located (hard-to-reach places on 6×4 8×4 tipper vehicles, carriers, etc.) Semi-trailer tractors are easier to access .
The operations that you will read below are still valid (via OBD socket if possible, or by Limp Off box) however we now recommend opting for the solution that we have just detailed because it is also the only way to remove the EGR valve and increase power in order to lower fuel consumption.
We support Renault / Volvo T C K D Wide engines. The 7.7L, 11L and 13L engine range is supported. It does not matter if your vehicle has the Retarder, or a very recent version of update, our new development adapts to all possibilities.
Basic Operation and Problem Parts
When AdBlue incidents occur on Renault Trucks vehicles, it becomes totally impossible to use it. Loss of more than 80% of power, torque limitation and maximum authorized speed of 20Km/h. We are going to offer you several solutions to counter these defects. First of all, let’s take a look at the vehicles on which our solutions can be adapted.
Note that Renault T, C, K or D vehicles use engines from the Volvo manufacturer, so our solutions are also suitable for trucks of this other brand.

Operating principle of the gas / AdBlue treatment system on Renault Trucks
7TH INJECTOR
A specific diesel injector is used for thermal management of the diesel oxidation catalyst. It also guarantees the efficiency of the diesel particulate filter and the proper functioning of the SCR system.
DOC CATALYST
DOC produces the nitrogen dioxide (NO2) needed by the diesel particulate filter to burn particulates efficiently. At very low temperatures, it also provides the heat required for regeneration.
FAP / DPF
The filter captures and stores particulates until they burn off during regeneration. Regeneration takes place automatically, so the driver does not have to do anything.
SCR & ASC
In the mixing zone, the exhausts are sprayed with AdBlue. When they reach the catalyst, nitrogen oxides (NOX) turn into neutral nitrogen and water. The ASC catalyst is the last step before the exhaust pipe. This is where any remaining ammonia (NH3) is removed.
What causes a failure of the exhaust gas treatment system on Renault Trucks?
- Indication of a check engine light on the dashboard
- The truck displays a message indicating the minimum torque restriction in 8 hours, in the worst case at the next restart.
- The vehicle is strategically limited to 20 km h.
- The vehicle typically displays an adblue quality fault associated with code P207F9A
- 7th AdBlue injector: Seized up or faulty injector. The injection of Adblue is no longer possible in the system.
- Defective catalyst: Burned, deteriorated or melted, it no longer allows optimized operation of the exhaust gas post-treatment system and can in the long term not clog the particle filter since regenerations are no longer carried out.
- Particle filter: Clogged due to various causes. Catalyst problem, too frequent short trips and automatic regeneration name completed, there are multiple causes that can put your truck in power restriction.
- SCR: SCR catalyst failure, clogged or physically destroyed. NOx sensors can also cause SCR events managed by the vehicle's ACM control module.

2 choices: Emulator or ECU Programming
Deactivation by programming
Everything happens electronically. No additional element is connected to the vehicle. We proceed by complete reprogramming of the AdBlue system via the engine computer by connecting to the diagnostic socket of the truck. (OBD2)
Disable by SCR emulation
The operation is done by adding an AdBlue system virtualization module by connecting a box to the ACM computer. The operation is simple and the box can be sent all over the world. Housing molded on Volvo original connector.
On vehicles fitted with the “Voith Hydraulic retarder” directly connected to the transmission, it is not possible to fit an emulator or risk displaying numerous ABS braking faults, lane crossing faults, automatic emergency braking faults.
MANDATORY CONDITIONS & PREREQUISITES
- Step 1: The current version of the engine ECU must correspond to a version that we can program. A software calculator version that is too recent does not allow us to intervene because we would not have the coding keys to validate the programming. To find out if your vehicle is eligible, you can contact us by providing us with the serial number of the vehicle. Our privileged access to the internal Volvo/Mack/Renault database allows us to know in real time the latest updates made.
- Step 2: The vehicle can be fitted with the VEB retarder and hydraulic retarder taken from the gearbox. No restrictions on this.
- Step 3: You can come to our workshop to carry out the operation if the previous conditions are met. We will connect through the OBD2 port of your Volvo Euro 6 truck to operate. If you are not located geographically close to our garage (near Rouen), we can operate remotely. For this we will have to send you our PC equipped with the required software as well as hardware against deposit. Once connected to the Internet, we will take control remotely to carry out the operation. All you have to do is turn the ignition on and off when prompted.
- Step 4: Once the operation is complete, you will no longer have any fault codes relating to the AdBlue system. Everything will be electronically deleted from memory and permanently.
- Step 5: It is very important to take note of this recommendation. Any vehicle updated at a Volvo dealership will be erased from our programming. The manufacturer update will be too recent for us to perform the delete operation again. As mentioned in step 1, if your software version was eligible for programming, IT WILL NOT be eligible and you will lose our program and your investment in our solution. We cannot be held responsible for dealer update operations. Please specify it to the foreman if you know it or to the competent personnel, if necessary avoid visits to the manufacturer.
MANDATORY CONDITIONS & PREREQUISITES
- Step 1: It is essential for this operation via emulator, that the vehicle is not equipped with the retarder on the gearbox. VEB OK, but no hydraulic retarder, only the exhaust retarder.
- Step 2: No restriction of the software version of the vehicle. Recently released trucks can be modified.
- Step 3: The intervention can be done at our workshop over half a day. If necessary, we have the possibility of sending our box anywhere in the world. Very little knowledge is required for assembly. We designed our box with an original connection from the vehicle and then inserted our own integrated circuit inside. It is therefore easy and quick to set up and the margin of error is very small.
- Step 4: In the majority of cases the fault will clear automatically but we have already had cases where fault clearing in the case is mandatory after installation. Once done, you can drive without fear of running out of AdBlue.
- Step 5: The vehicle can go to the dealership and benefit from an update without the risk of erasing the internal memory of our box. The case is IP68, ie it is water resistant in the proportions provided for by the IP68 standard.
- WARNING: You will find many copies of our box on the internet that do not work and are sold at half price. Play the security card.
- Our emulator acts on the parameters and inhibits the following devices AdBlue PUMP, NOX SENSOR, CATALYST, TEMPERATURE SENSOR, ADBLUE INJECTOR, ADBLUE TANK LEVEL.

DON'T WANT TO DELETE YOUR ADBLUE DEVICE?
We are aware that you do not want to inhibit your AdBlue device and it is completely legitimate. One to preserve the planet and two quite simply to comply with the legislation. However, you don’t want to be stuck on the side of the road either, in power reduction mode with no solution other than to call the repairman and end up with a high bill, both by the repair itself and by the intervention on your AdBlue system in concession which is often around 3000€ and that is understandable.

Theoretically only the dealer or a garage equipped with the manufacturer’s diagnostic kit is able to erase the faults. However, symptoms can recur very quickly; a few hours after erasure, or even after having driven a few kilometers, sometimes less than ten.
Following the resurgence of demand, we have developed a process for self-elimination of the fault before starting the vehicle. Eliminating the power reduction on the truck is now possible with AdBlue-Services.com. Our mini case partly emulates that of the manufacturer when the technician launches the procedure for erasing the engine light, thus the truck regains its original power as well as its engine torque. The process is very simple, we have developed this system so that it adapts to all types of driver, from 18 to 65 years old (and more). This solution is an alternative allowing to make big savings by avoiding the safety of the truck.
