Daf Euro 6 exhaust system: What to do?
It often happens that a fault in the exhaust system appears on Daf Euro 6. This is often due either to a faulty NOx sensor, or to a clogged injector, sometimes to the pump which no longer delivers enough fuel. urea… The reasons can be multiple. The resulting defects render the truck unusable, which loses its power and torque and is limited to 20 km/h.
The main faults on the dashboard are most often:
Speed limited to 20km/h
Dysf. AdBlue dosing
Motor power limitation
Dysf. Exhaust system
How to remove all engine restrictions?
First of all we do a complete scan of the faults as well as the fault codes present with specific diagnostic tools. This allows us to identify the fault codes present.
Below are the fault codes P151A (limitation at 20km/h), P1518 (Limitation of engine torque), P3908 (Dysf. of the temperature module, faulty sensor), as well as P3905 (Short circuit at the level of the pump ‘AdBlue) are present, that is to say that even by erasing them in the suitcase they will not go away. We must therefore reprogram the entire system in order to permanently delete these AdBlue fault codes and thus be able to use the vehicle under normal conditions without restriction of speed or power. Adblue consumption will also be zero.
After reprogramming the ETC3 system on your vehicle
Once the AdBlue system of your Daf XF460 Euro 6 has been reprogrammed, you will once again be able to exploit the potential of your truck without ever again being afraid of breaking down in the middle of nowhere. The instrument panel will no longer display any fault codes or emissions related messages.
The suppression of the SCR system is also coupled to the DPF/FAP particulate filter system. We advise you to remove the cartridge from it after our operation. We suppress the regenerations in order to avoid any problem of clogging of the filter.
