Fendt 826 Vario adblue problem – Deutz TCD 6.1 Tier 4F engine

Adblue Fendt 826 problem: What to do?

Fendt 826 Vario tractors are equipped with Deutz TCD6.1 engines. In the Fendt tractor, the Deutz TCD 6.1 engine develops a power of 265 horsepower and is managed by a Bosch EDC17CV52 type engine management module. Its nominal speed is 2100 rpm and its maximum torque is 1450 rpm, which allows it to produce a force of 1150 Nm. However, it often happens that faults relating to the gas post-treatment system appear. . We explain to you.

Message 01.1.F1: EDC power reduction
Several faults present following a problem with the particle filter are displayed on the instrument panel, including one mentioning the code 01.1.F1. This message indicates engine restriction, i.e. limited performance. The clogged particle filter on this vehicle no longer allows optimal use.

DPF and Adblue troubleshooting on Fendt 826 Vario
The particulate filter (DPF) is a device that is used to capture soot and dirt particles produced by the diesel engine to reduce exhaust emissions. If the DPF is clogged or damaged, it can affect engine performance and cause the error message “01.1.F1 – EDC power reduction” to appear.

It is possible to remove DPF faults by programming the ECU (Electronic Control Unit), i.e. modifying the software that controls the various vehicle systems. This can be done by using a specialized diagnostic tool that can read and change ECU settings.

The SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system is often used in conjunction with the DPF (particulate filter) system to reduce exhaust emissions in diesel engines.

The SCR system uses a catalyst and a reducing agent (usually urea) to convert sulfur dioxide (SO2) and carbon monoxide (CO) emissions into water and carbon dioxide (CO2). The DPF system, on the other hand, captures soot and dirt particles produced by the diesel engine to reduce exhaust emissions.

By combining these two technologies, it is possible to significantly reduce diesel engine exhaust emissions and meet emission regulatory requirements. However, it is important to note that the SCR system and the FAP system are two separate systems that require separate maintenance and management. The deletion is therefore done by complete programming of the two FAP and ADBLUE components in a definitive and faultless manner on the dashboard.

Following programming via our system you can permanently disconnect the NOx sensors and the adblue pump electrically. |
No faults will be present on the dashboard and the vehicle will also be out of performance restriction for all aspects of exhaust gas and emissions control.
