Incorrect AdBlue quality. Torque reduction in… (Volvo)

Incorrect AdBlue quality on Volvo FH460 Euro 6

Permanently get rid of Adblue problems on Volvo Euro 6
Solving an incorrect AdBlue quality problem on Volvo can be complicated. The causes can often be multiple. When the system fails, an alert message appears on the instrument panel indicating: Contact the workshop: Incorrect AdBlue quality, reduction in engine torque in xxx hours. Very often the countdown starts at 8 a.m. then tends to 1 a.m. and then completely restricts the performance of the truck. In addition to the limited power and torque, in 90% of cases the vehicle speed is also limited to 20km/h.

The main causes of AdBlue quality problems

The main causes relating to the AdBlue quality problem are generally a poor AdBlue flow rate, so its concentration is not optimal and the NOx sensors do not register the correct values. The problem is that several elements may be faulty, the pump pump may not deliver enough, the injector may be clogged, the NOx sensor faulty… As a result, the case may guide us but also mislead us because it does not not always make it possible to diagnose the disturbing element. The dealer will suddenly make you change all the parts that may be related to the message on the dashboard coupled with their own diag. The bill is often high, the pump alone is more than 2400€, an injector at 600/800€, see more… ect, ect.

Deleting the system is permanent and frees you from all these restrictions

Deleting AdBlue on FH460 following an AdBlue quality problem is therefore possible by reprogramming all the gas post-treatment parameters in the engine ECU as well as in the ACM (post-treatment module). On Volvo/Renault, the deletion is global, DPF, EGR valve and AdBlue system. The parameters present in the EMS once modified it is mandatory to remove the particulate filter cartridge because regeneration problems will also be eliminated. In addition, the LIMP mode (crawling mode at 20Km/h) is permanently deleted. To sum up, no more adblue consumption, no more clogged particulate filter problems, no more clogged EGR valve problems and no more crawling mode problems, engine torque reduction. (only for emission faults, for other engine faults we do not intervene on the restriction setting so that you always have security in the event of other concerns).
