DC1619 Engine Remapping, R500 V8
Custom engine reprogramming and test on this Scania R500 V8 equipped with the DC1619 engine. The engine power increases from 500hp to 580hp and the torque increases by 250Nm. Consumption is reduced by around 2L/100km, sometimes more depending on the type of driving.
NOx deactivation
It is possible to deactivate the NOx and engine torque reduction control in the event of an AdBlue problem. This prevents the vehicle from entering degraded mode and no longer being able to move forward correctly due to a restriction in engine performance.
