Reprogramming on Scania R580 V8 with Geo Adblue Turbo EGR Valve

Power improvement on R580 V8 Streamline

Upgrade to 650hp with reprogramming on Scania R580 V8 and save up to 3L/100 of fuel
The DC16 102 block from Scania, well known for its design under the Euro 6 standard with EGR valve, variable geometry turbo and Adblue system which can also cause problems. Our goal during this intervention was to condemn the Adblue and FAP system in order to be able to integrate a free exhaust with valve.

How is the operation going?

The well-known EMS S8 engine management unit since 2014 offers us the possibility of customizing all the engine and anti-pollution operating constants. It is therefore possible to deactivate the particulate filter as well as the SCR system (adblue) on this 16L V8. The installation of a specific switch enables the emission control system to be activated on demand. So when you go to concentrations and you want to make your V8 roar or even if you want to drive in countries where adblue is rare and not compulsory, for example, then you will have the possibility of deactivating the post-processing system of gas.

Stage 1 reprogramming on R580 V8

The reprogramming of the DC16 block 102 allows a non-negligible torque and power gain. Indeed the power is increased from 580hp to 650hp after going to Stage 1 ++. The engine torque is improved to cross the 3300Nm against 2950Nm. The GRSO 905R box takes the torque without any problem. The extra torque therefore reduces fuel consumption by around 3 liters per 100. (on average)
