NEWS: SCANIA EURO 6 latest generation - V8 530 - 590 - 660 - 770 - Stage 1 & Adblue Off Possible for free exhaust

Stage 1+ on Scania S650 DC16118 engine at 730hp SCR DPF option

Stage 1+ engine remapping on Scania S650

Why do a Stage 1+ on Scania S650
The 650 from Scania have identical all the engine elements from the 580 phase 2. (the one without the EGR valve and the variable geometry turbo). Only one element changes compared to the 580, it is the gearbox. Indeed on the 580, the GRSO905R is mounted while the GRSO925R is in place on the 650. For information it is the gearbox of the 730, which collects a higher torque.

Reprogramming a vehicle’s engine consists of modifying the engine’s management parameters in order to optimize its performance.

Reprogramming on Scania S650 allows, in stage 1, to go from 650hp to 730hp and to improve the torque from 3300Nm to 3600Nm

Increase in engine torque and reduction in consumption
Increasing engine torque can have several potential benefits, including:

Improved performance: A motor with higher torque can provide better pulling power and acceleration, which can be useful in certain situations, such as when you need to start quickly or climb a hill.
Better towing capacity: An engine with higher torque can have better towing capacity, which can be useful if you use your vehicle to tow a trailer or another vehicle.
Reduced fuel consumption: In some cases, an increase in engine torque can optimize the use of engine resources and reduce fuel consumption.

Switching the AdBlue system on
The EEC3 (Electronic Engine Control) module of certain Scania vehicle models can be configured to activate or deactivate on demand the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system, which is used to reduce polluting emissions in diesel engines by injecting urea in the exhaust gases. Thus several options are possible to activate for example your exhaust valves.
When the system is OFF, the exhaust valves can be used without having a fault displayed on the instrument panel. This system should only be used during rallies, on closed roads, circuits or in countries where the use of adblue is not compulsory.

Speed Sensor Calibration
The calibration of the speed sensor allows you to obtain a few additional km/h or on the contrary to remove it according to your needs.
